It is hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone again… it all happened so fast! I hope you all had a great Christmas! I hope you ate too much, got merry and spent the festive period with all of your family and friends.
I was spoilt rotten this year and I was so grateful for all of the lovely gifts that were given to me. Most of these were clothing items etc, but in this post I just wanted to show you the amazing beauty products which were kindly gifted to me.
I wanted to get this blogpost up quick enough so that if something caught your eye, you could potentially get it cheaper in the January sales. I hope you enjoy!
As you can imagine, receiving make-up on this scale for Christmas is a make-up bloggers dream! You can’t beat (most!) high end beauty lines for great, pigmented eyeshadows. I have already made plenty of use of these (tutorials coming soon!)
I chose Studded Kiss and I was so happy when I could finally try it out on Christmas Day! It is a deep red with brown undertones, perfect for this time of year. I was also kindly gifted Velvet Teddy, but due to my lovely friend already buying me this as a gift a couple of weeks before, I think I will exchange the shade for a different one.
I was in desperate need of some new make-up brushes, so I was so happy when I opened these! Excuse the fact that they have already all been used…I couldn’t wait!
Top Left: Powder Brushes (Make: Eloiven), Bottom Left: Real Technique Duo-fiber eye brush, duo-fiber face brush and duo-fiber contour brush, Bottom Middle: Elf Daily Brush Cleanser, Eyeshadow Brush, Brow Wand, Concealer Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Right: MAC’s 217 Blending brush (again already used!)
Top Left: Mac’s Cream Colour Base in Pearl – Although you can’t see this much on the swatch, it leaves a beautiful sheen and looks amazing just on top of the cheekbone and under the eye area for a highlight…obsessed!
Top Right: Clarin’s Wonder Black Mascara, YSL Volume Macara and Lancome’s Kohl Eyeliner in Noir. These are all minature travel sizes and as I am going on holiday quite a few times this year, I am not going to open these until I go. They will definitely come in handy.
Bottom: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 3N1 Ivory Beige. I have used this foundation before and I had forgotten how great it is. I have been wearing it non stop since Christmas day (although I did say I would keep it for ‘special occasions!) I have had numerous compliments on my skin since then and it is definitely because of I have used this as a base. There should already be an updated foundation routine up on my blog by now, this is featured in it.
& thats it!
I hope you enjoyed reading this and I hope you all had a great Christmas!
Lots of love
