If you have read my 2016 goals, one of them was to make sure I had a weekly ‘pamper night’. I wanted to share with you what exactly this would consist of!
So here are my essentials for a pamper night!:
Products displayed in the video:
Sanctuary Spa Cleansing Burst Body Wash (250ml) – £5.50
I don’t tend to reach for Sanctuary body washes/cleaners in the shower as I find the bottle very awkward to use! Most products have a pull off lid as well as an extra seal inside, which makes them quite difficult to open and use when standing under running water! But for the bath they are amazing and this cleansing burst body wash is one of my favourites. It has capsules of sesame oil and jojoba within the wash itself which allow your skin to feel very smooth after and like all Sanctuary products, it smells amazing!
Bamboo Spa Youthful Radiance Spa Treatment Face Masks (pack of 4) – around £8/9
I was given these as a gift for Christmas and they are without a doubt the best masks I have ever tried. I don’t know whether it is my first experience of trying a sheet mask that did it for me, but the fact that there is no messing around with lotions/creams is a big advantage! The masks have bamboo leaf extract, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid and they made my skin feel so hydrated after just one use. I will definitely be repurchasing these if I can get my hands on them!
Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body scrub (250ml) & exfoliating gloves.
This is the body scrub that I always go back for time and time again (unless I want a more gentle scrub, spoken about here). It is great for getting rid of tan residue on the skin and its fruity fragance is amazing. I tend to either use this with/without exfoliating gloves (I don’t tend to use the gloves on their own as I don’t feel I am getting the moisturising benefits I want!)
Coco Chanel Mademoiselle Fresh Moisture Body Mist – £29.00
Some may find this a little strange, but I love spraying some sort of body scent after a bath even if I am just going to bed! Chanel’s Fresh Moisture body mist is amazing for this as it is not too overpowering and moisturises my skin at the same time!
Botanics Hydrating Night Cream (£3.33) and Dr Organics Rose Otto Facial Serum £12.99
I have raved about these products before (click here for my blogpost on my nightly skincare routine), so I won’t go into too much detail, but I always moisturise my face after exfoliating/using a face mask. These have been my favourites for a while now, & I always tend to reach for them, especially the serum. It leaves my skin unbelievably clear and moisturised and it is definitely my holy grail of skincare!
Sanctuary Spa Luxurious Body Butter – £10.00
I have never really been committed to one body butter or lotion (apart from Palmers Cocoa Butter range). I tend to reach for whatever is at the top of my collection and today it was this! Again, it has the amazing Sanctuary scent and is extremely thick on application, leaving my skin very smooth once absorbed. The product contains butters from cocoa and shea and oil from macademia nuts and sweet almonds (which explains why it leaves my skin so smooth!) Perfect product to end my pamper night!
I hope this post has inspired you to get pampering!
