Haul: MAC, Illamasqua, Kiko Milano!

My purchase habits have gone a little crazy recently, but in my defence its mostly been from vouchers that I received as gifts for my birthday and Christmas!

I popped into the big shopping centre near me yesterday and picked up a few new goodies that I wanted to share with you. Some of these are re-purchases and some are completely new so I cannot wait to try them out and review them for you!

KIKO Milano BB Glow Compact – £5.90 each (RRP £11.90)

I picked this compact up in two shades; the darker one shown above (number 12) and one which matched my skintone (number 5). Number 5 will be staying in my handbag and will be great for when I travel to Madrid next week. I bought number 12 with the intention of using it as a contour colour! The consistency of these are lovely; very smooth and moisturising  but still able to provide great coverage (I’d say a medium coverage, although it feels extremely light on the skin). The compact comes with a sponge on the second layer and a mirror…perfect for on the go. It definitely won’t replace my everyday foundation, but it will be my new favourite product to reach for when I want to top up in the day!

Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation – Shade RF200 (£31.00 30ml)

This is probably the thickest foundation I have ever found! I am yet to try it on my face (I have only tested it on my hand), but it is the ultimate full coverage foundation. Although the consistency is very thick, it still feels blendable and easy to work with (although I won’t be able to fully confirm how great it is until I have tested it properly). The lady who served me had it on and her skin was flawless. My only bug bear with this product so far is that for £31.00 I would expect packaging that didn’t look so cheap! The bottle itself is a plain plastic container…definitely not something you would expect for such a high end foundation.

MAC Lip Liners – Pro Longwear Lip Pencils (£15.00), Lip Pencils (12.50)

I am really into my brown and dark nude lip colours at the moment, and I absolutely love MAC Lip liners, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some more. From top to bottom, I picked up ‘Soar’, ‘Morning Coffee’ and ‘Nice n Spicy’. I have had ‘soar’ before so that was a repurchase, but the other two are new to my collection, and I can’t wait to try them. I am sure they will be featuring in some upcoming looks! ‘Soar’ is a lip pencil, whilst the other two are pro longwear lip pencils (they are a little smoother when applying).

MAC Satin Lipstick – ‘Cherish’ – £15.50

Like I said above, I am really into my nudes and browns at the moment, so this is another nude to add to my collection (like I need any more). I absolute love MAC’s Lipstick in ‘Pure Zen’, but this one is a little darker. I can’t wait to team it with one of my new liners!

MAC’s Loose Pigment – Rose ‘ – £10.00 (2.5g) – full size is £15.00 (

.4.5g)

This was a last minute impulse buy as MAC had some small sample size pigments by the till as I was paying… & like always I just couldn’t help myself! The camera doesn’t do the colour justice, but is a beautiful rose shade, which is going to be amazing on the lid. I can’t wait to play around with it! The fact that it is a smaller size is great for me, as I would never get through a full size pigment anyway.

so that’s it!

I hope you enjoyed!
