So I picked up this idea from Miss Budget Beauty after watching her video recently (click here to watch it!) This new series is all about switching up my everyday make-up & using those ‘back of the drawer’ products that I may not reach for all that often or just haven’t given a fair chance to.
Now I don’t have an everyday make-up bag and just tend to reach into my drawers each day, albeit for the same thing. So forcing myself to use different products to what I am use to and using it from a make-up bag everyday has felt very peculiar to me!
However, I have really enjoyed it and I talk in depth about it in the video below. Scroll further down for a list of the products used and also an update since I created the video.
I hope you enjoy!
PRODUCTS TALKED ABOUT:
Bare Mineral’s Blush (Vivacious) – I don’t think this is available anymore!
Maybelline Single Eyeshadow – Iced Fudged
Kiko Milano – Hypnotic Gaze Mascara-Eyeliner Duo
W7 Lip Twiter – Nude
MAC Lipstick – Velvet Teddy
OK so it has been about 5 days & I have been using the above products each day. I have to say that I have really enjoyed using different things and changing up my everyday make-up, but there have been a couple of products that I have had to switch back in:
NO7 LIP CRAYON – I spoke about this in my recent blogpost, and I absolutely love it. The only reason I had to switch this in is because as much as I loved the nude combo I initially introduced, I felt like some days I wanted a change of colour.
BOURJOIS HEALTHY MIX FOUNDATION – Like I said in the video, I find the Benefit BB perfector very hard to use. To make my life easier, I switched in my trusted Bourjois Healthy Mix just to use in the mornings for work purely for ease. I am not giving up on the Benefit’s perfector just yet, but I definitely need to have the time spare to apply it!
MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL – I switched this in purely because my Kiko Milano Mascara sadly has dried out! However, I do love that mascara and would definitely consider repurchasing!
SO THAT’S IT GUYS!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR READING! PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR OCOBER’S POST WHERE I WILL BE SWITCHING IT UP AGAIN!
